Vijay Sudan has spent the majority of his career working at the intersection of media, social impact and sustainability, having led corporate responsibility efforts at some of the world’s largest media companies.
Most recently, he served as Executive Director, Social Responsibility at The Walt Disney Company, overseeing the company’s global environmental sustainability efforts as well as cause-related marketing. While at Disney, he helped develop award-winning social impact campaigns for The Lion King, Eternals, Avatar: The Way of Water, and more.
Prior to joining the Disney, Vijay served as Vice President of Social Impact at 21st Century Fox where he helped design, launch, and lead the company’s global corporate responsibility programs, including efforts on sustainability, diversity & inclusion, community engagement, strategic philanthropy, and cause marketing.
His work at 21CF included developing cause marketing campaigns for properties including The X-Files, Glee, American Idol, Independence Day, Hidden Figures, He Named Me Malala, and National Geographic. Vijay’s work has received recognition from the Clio Entertainment Awards, Webby Awards, Shorty Awards, and Cynopsis Social Good Awards .
