Suruchi Sood, Ph.D. is a multidisciplinary health communication scholar, an accomplished educator, and a research professional with 30+ years of experience. She has managed strategy development, capacity-building, and research on social and behavior change in over 30 low- and middle-income countries across five continents. She uses mixed methods and her skills range from advanced multivariate statistical modeling to community-based participatory visual and narrative techniques. Her specific interest is studying entertainment education. She has managed evaluations of multi-platform interventions including multiple audiences and within a variety of contexts. She has over 12 years’ of experience as a mentor, educational leader, and instructor, teaching graduate public health courses, and guiding MPH and Ph.D. students at Johns Hopkins University, Arcadia University, and Drexel University.
