Jordan Riber is a producer and director of both fiction and non-fiction film. Jordan grew up in Zimbabwe, and spent 15 years working in East and Southern Africa, where he worked in collaboration with local filmmakers on numerous film and television projects including three internationally-distributed features (Bahasha, Fatuma and Tunu) and 26 episodes of one of the popular TV drama, Siri ya Mtungi.
Since moving to the United States in 2019, Jordan has been collaborating with Children of the Setting Sun Productions on projects focused on Indigenous Communities in the Pacific Northwest. Jordan is currently working on a collection of environmentally-themed documentary films called the Salmon People Stories, as well as a scripted TV drama entitled The Sound, which focuses on mental health risks and resilience among Coast Salish Youth.
