Christine Simmons is an exceptional C-suite Business Strategist, Storyteller, Entrepreneur and Impact Maker. Her firm Alis Volat Propriis (which means she who flies with her own wings in Latin) helps bring stories and economic impact to life. She loves giving voice to the voiceless. From strategic and operational consulting to documentary impact producing she is always thinking outside of the box.

Her first project, I Am Not Your Hero, directed by Kelli Kali, explores the unique mental health challenges and experiences of BIPOC doctors. Her second project is in development named Trailblazers. A series set during the pre-NBA era of Black professional basketball. She has other projects in development as well.

Simmons is the former Chief Operating Officer of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and previously president and COO of the Los Angeles Sparks. Prior to her role with the Los Angeles Sparks, Simmons served as executive VP of Magic Johnson Enterprises. She has held senior positions managing and expanding supplier diversity at both Disney and NBCUniversal. 

She serves on multiple UCLA Boards and is the Board Co-Chair of the Shared Harvest Foundation. Simmons also serves on the advisory councils for Spry Technology, and Urban Edge Capital Board.

Her most proud accomplishment is her amazing son, Christian.
